About Us
The Norwood Public School District is a community public district that serves students in Pre-K through Eighth grade from Norwood in Bergen County, New Jersey. The Norwood Public School District prides itself in educating all its students in order to prepare them for lifelong learning and to be fully contributing citizens in a complex and global society. The goal is achieved through an integrated curriculum that not only provides an academic knowledge, but also fosters opportunities for students to grow as individuals within a nurturing and challenging environment.
As of the 2024-2025 school year, the district's one school has an enrollment of approximately 600 students coming from over 400 families. Norwood School has long been a cultural centerpiece of our small town and has existed in its current location since 1951. Graduates of Norwood Public School attend Northern Valley Old Tappan High School in Old Tappan, New Jersey. They share that building with students from Old Tappan, Harrington Park and Northvale.
