1st and 2nd graders made some cozy winter bears in Art! These bears are tucked into a blanket that is full of different lines, shapes, and colors. This gives our students a better understanding of how to use lines in art and how to create unique patterns.

Students in 3rd and 4th grade created a Makerspace Parade based on their favorite literary character or non-fiction subject from a book in the NPS Library!
Today, NPS hosted the Consul General of Korea. He highlighted the 70 year alliance of South Korea and the United States.
Today NPS hosted "Mike Magic" to perform for students in grades Pre-k - Grade 4. However, this was no ordinary Magic show. The performance was rooted on "Kindness" and how being nice to others can do magical things for a school community.
It was all smiles at our Kindergarten Sight Word celebration!
K-4 students have begun the seed planting process for our Hydroponics/Farm to Table program. They will be growing Swiss Chard, Radish, Kale, and Lettuce!
This week K-4 staff and students enjoyed our "STEM challenge". We placed a large pumpkin (37.80 lbs) in the hallway and asked for everyone's predictions on the amount of seeds inside.
Students in 6th grade ELA created Coat of Arms in order to delve deeper into the characters in the novel, Freak the Mighty.
In Makerspace students participated in the “Save our Harvest Challenge”. Students brainstormed and worked collaboratively to design a product to protect different forms of agriculture!
Today our K-4 students participated in a nutritional Salad Bar Assembly. This interactive assembly ignited students’ curiosity about where food comes from and why fresh is best for their bodies and the planet.
Kindergarten had a great time with our therapy dog "Baloo" this morning!
